Work Location : Client Site – Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Employment Type : On-rolls of New Era Technology Malaysia

Experience Required : 6 to 8 Years

Nationality : Open to Malaysian nationals and expatriates

About the Role :

New Era Technology Malaysia is hiring a Software Engineer to be deployed at our esteemed client location in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. We are looking for a dynamic professional with strong expertise in Java , Spring , AWS , and Microservices Architecture , who is passionate about cloud-based solution development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java / J2EE applications using Spring Framework .

Build and deploy microservices-based architecture for enterprise-grade applications.

Drive and support cloud migration initiatives , specifically transitioning from on-premise to cloud environments.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment in AWS .

Ensure clean, testable, and efficient code, while adhering to coding standards and best practices.

Collaborate in CI / CD pipeline development and contribute to deployment automation.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed services and applications.

Required Skills and Experience :

6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, Spring .

Strong working knowledge of AWS services and deployment practices.

Proven expertise in microservices development and cloud deployment .

Experience in migration projects from on-premise to cloud environments.

Exposure to Kubernetes and PostgreSQL is an added advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Reporting to : Project Manager at Client Site

Start Date : Immediate or as per notice
