We are currently looking for talented individuals to join us for the Pre-Operations Project Engineer role. We are currently based at KL Eco City, Malaysia.

Role Purpose

Responsible for supporting the planning and controls of Pre-Operations scope to all projects, supporting the Pre-Operations Proposal Manager on the coordination of the functions and integrating the different administrative, operational and technical disciplines on site to ensure pre-operations projects scope are delivered on time and on budget, while establishing effective relationships between the operations, service departments, pre-operations and EPCI teams.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for monitoring, planning and control activities execution for Pre-Operations projects, including development and update of Operations Readiness schedules and S-curves, and also interface with IMS team for updating the results in the portal.
• Provide support and guidance to the Pre-Operations Managers in relation to Operations Readiness scope.
• Develop controls, dashboards and tools for the management of the Pre Operations processes. Innovate by digitalizing processes and maintaining integrated and reliable databases, using the recorded data to analyze, obtain useful insights and support decision making from pre-operations managers.
• Map, develop, keep and continuously improve the pre-operations standards and associated documents, ensuring lessons learnt are properly captured towards pre-operational excellence, identifying best practices and promoting standardization across all projects.
• Support on the manpower allocation and resources management for attendance for multiple project demands (e.g. workshops, safety studies, documentation review, etc.)
• Identify support bottlenecks and constraints related to People, Systems and Processes and coordinate intelligent problem-solving strategies and execution.
• Provide data and inputs required for company KPI measurement, as applicable.
• Establish healthy and fruitful relationships between the different involved entities and departments in the pre-operations phase.
• Engage with various departments and disciplines under Project Execution structure to identify challenges faced in project level and address those in corporate level for other ongoing and future projects, as applicable.
