Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated PHP Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in PHP development, an eagerness to contribute to innovative projects, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable PHP-based applications using Laravel and other frameworks.
  • Build, test, and deploy web applications that are secure, efficient, and user-friendly.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality.
  • Optimize application performance, database queries, and server configurations.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with emerging web technologies and propose improvements where necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
  • Solid understanding of the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache / Nginx, MySQL, PHP).
  • Strong proficiency in PHP (OOP, MVC) and frameworks such as Laravel.
  • Experience working with Linux servers (e.g., Ubuntu) for deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of web servers (Apache / Nginx) setup, configuration, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and JSON / XML data handling.
  • Understanding of software design patterns and best practices in scalable application development.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest) and debugging tools.
  • Proficient with Git or other version control systems (branching, merging, pull requests).
  • Awareness of application security best practices (SQL injection, XSS, CSRF prevention).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to write clean and maintainable code.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with capacity to work independently.
  • Highly committed, proactive, and detail-oriented with a drive for continuous learning.

    • Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Node.js.
  • Experience with React Native for mobile app development.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Understanding of CI / CD pipelines and containerization (Docker).
