Act as technical authority responsible for the execution and management of designated electrical engineering projects within hydropower initiatives, performing electrical engineering tasks and supervising electrical engineers to ensure successful project delivery.

Job Description

• Lead the execution of all electrical engineering aspects for designated Hydropower and Dam Projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Directly manage and mentor Electrical Engineers, fostering their professional development and ensuring high performance in project tasks.
• Collaborate with multicultural teams to develop and implement plant conceptualization, detailed designs, technical specifications, and reports for hydropower generators and electrical systems.
• Provide expert guidance on electrical management systems (EMS), control centres, SCADA / DCS automation design, microcontrollers, IoT integration, and cloud services.
• Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for new hydro projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards during commissioning and rehabilitation of existing facilities.
• Drive technical contributions during pre‑feasibility, feasibility studies, and detailed design phases of projects, ensuring all engineering solutions are practical and executable.
• Conduct thorough reviews of designs and documentation to enforce quality control measures throughout project execution.
• Facilitate effective communication among project managers, lead designers from other engineering disciplines, and contract managers to address any changes in project conditions promptly.
• Organize and lead project meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on objectives, progress, and challenges.
• Develop training programs for junior engineers to enhance their skills in electrical engineering practices and project execution methodologies.
• Actively participate in proposal preparations and marketing initiatives to showcase the division’s capabilities and secure new projects.
