Overview
KPMG Corporate Finance practice provides advisory services to support clients throughout their deal cycle and growth initiatives. Our services are broadly categorized into the following service segments :
- Valuation (business / shares, intangible assets, financial reporting fair value, litigation support)
- Deal Advisory (M&A deal advisory & support, transaction structuring, investment appraisal, etc.)
- Strategy (Corporate and capital market advisory, business plan, feasibility / commercial / market study, financial modelling, etc.)
Responsibilities
In the Corporate Finance practice, you will work as part of a team of deal and strategy advisors, assisting private and public organizations towards their deal and growth objectives.
As a Manager / Senior Manager, you are expected to manage and drive delivery of assignments in one or more of our service segments depending on the experience of the candidates.
The scopes and responsibilities, amongst others, include the following :
Specific Scope - Valuation
Lead project team members - Senior Associate (SA) / Assistant Manager (AM) to review the underlying business model, key business and operation drivers, and key economic / value drivers of the subject of valuation.Review and check quantitative analysis performed by SA and AM – financial analysis (historical and forecast), build / review financial projections model / valuation model, challenge assumptions, benchmarking exercise, and financial modelling.Review qualitative assessment together with project team (SA and AM) on industry and market outlook and risk factors analysis.Lead project team (SA and AM) in the preparation of the valuation technical works and valuation report.Specific Scope – Deal and Strategy Advisory
Understand Client’s need statement / problem statement and the solution design formulated by Director / Partner.Lead project team members - Senior Associate (SA) / Assistant Manager (AM) in performing qualitative assessment – financial projections, market forecast, investment appraisal (IRR, NPC, payback period, breakeven period, etc.)Lead project team members in market research and qualitative assessment – market studies, risk analysis, feasibilities and viability review, etc.Assist Director / Partner in preparation of deal / transaction structuring advisory, capital market schemes, etc.General Responsibilities for all service segments
Participate as lead project team member in brainstorming sessions with Director / PartnerParticipate as lead project team member in meetings with clients and other advisers / stakeholdersManage day-to-day communications with clients and / or third partiesLead preparation of reports and other deliverables to clientsAssist Director / Partner in project pitchRequirements
Minimum a Bachelor’s degree and / or professional qualifications in accounting, finance, CFA, economics5 to 7 years working experience in accounting advisory firms / consulting firms in the field of Assurance, Transaction Services, Strategy, Valuation and Financial Modelling services.Team leader and possess good project management skills, working collaboratively to achieve common objectivesSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyPossess analytical, articulation and writing skills, and leadership skills as well as business acumenProficient in both verbal and written English.Proficient in Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and / or Power BIClosing Date : Dec. 31, 2025
