Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

  • Lead and manage the full set of accounts in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and local tax regulations.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support strategic business goals.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to the CEO and management team for informed decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk effectively.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.

Administration & Operations

  • Oversee HR administration, payroll, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Ensure smooth office administration, procurement, and vendor management.
  • Establish policies, systems, and processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support company compliance with legal, corporate governance, and HRDCorp requirements.
  • Leadership & Strategic Contribution

  • Act as a business partner to the CEO and leadership team, contributing to growth strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for financial efficiency, cost optimization, and resource allocation.
  • Mentor and guide junior finance / admin staff to ensure professional development and high performance.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA, etc.) preferred.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of working experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably within professional services, consultancy, or training industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting practices, Companies Act, taxation, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage full sets of accounts and financial operations.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on capability – able to balance financial leadership with operational execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • High integrity, resilience, and a passion for driving business growth.
