Assistant Manager - Finance (Sunway REIT)

The Finance Assistant Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. This role involves leading and supervising a small team to deliver high-quality financial support to the business and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing and reporting.
  • Supervise AP / AR, cashbook monitoring, fund transfers, and fixed asset register.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
  • Coordinate audits, tax submissions, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
  • Mentor and guide team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc assignments as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent qualification (ACCA / CPA / MIA preferred).
  • Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience (audit experience will be an added advantage), with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (MFRS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with good leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
