As a Senior Project Manager, you play a key role in a lean, performance-focused and innovative NPD team. Within Tea Supply Chain, the project management team are the engine that drives the delivery of NPD & TSC initiatives and are respected in the business for the value that they deliver.
You will drive and deliver NPD & TSC strategic projects across the Twinings product portfolio including NPD Core innovation, NPD Adapt & TSC Value Optimisation & TSC Procurement initiatives where complexity of the project or impact on consumer experience require high and mature project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver NPD & TSC strategic projects positively and proactively, on time in full.
- Responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of NPD projects with different levels of complexity.
- Manage Markets and other Teams expectations through regular effective communication to all stakeholders and team members.
- Use appropriate tools / schedules for activity planning and lead project meetings to engage the project team to actively participate and support the project implementation. Ensure the project is on track, stakeholders are aligned, and issues / risks are highlighted in a timely manner.
- Identify and highlight risks and challenges through the life of a project and, with the project team, find solutions that minimise the risks.
- Influence, manage, brief and coordinate people across Team NPD and across Tea Supply Chain (including Technical, Procurement, Data Team, Finance, Regulatory & Supply Centres) and external suppliers (e.g. design agency, material suppliers, co-packer, etc.) to engage in and deliver projects.
- Create and implement the project timeline and supervise its implementation.
- Coordinate the first production in the production area and monitor the implementation progress until the product is fully approved.
- Ensure project statuses and key milestones are kept accurate and up to date in the NPD Gateway system.
- Update other systems (e.g. EDC for estimated costings), KPIs and Data Bridges with key information to enable project delivery.
- Work with other Project Managers to support other projects, look for process improvement opportunities and proactively share learnings.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Track record of achievement within an innovations or project role in a fast-paced Food / FMCG / personal care manufacturing environment.Managed multiple projects with different timelines and requirements.Managed and delivered complex projects in a matrix, shared service or virtual team environment.Worked in large cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders, gaining engagement and alignment to achieve outcomes.Demonstrate a client / customer focused mindset and solution-focused approach to issues / risks.Lead and inspire others, influence cross-functionally, manage key relationships and stakeholders, while keeping a clear focus on the end goal.Ability to communicate proactively, clearly and concisely across cultures with the right people at the right time, including the best approach to communicate (emails, calls, etc.).Capable of working cross-functionally with marketing, operations and regional teams across different countries and time zones.Analyse information, identify anomalies and proactively address them.Ability to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts.Ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure on many tasks without compromising quality or delivery.Agile / flexible in approach and ways of working and embraces change.Good facilitation skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills.Multi-tasking and effective prioritisation.Benefits
