CNC Programmer / Setter / Machinist (Juru & Penang Island, Milling Machine)

Prepare CNC programs using MasterCAM / GibbsCAM based on engineering drawings and design specifications.

Set up CNC milling machines, including selecting tools, fixture design, and machine configuration.

Create clear setup sheets and work instructions for machinists, including tool lists.

Machine first articles or production components when required to validate programs.

Interpret technical drawings to ensure all machined parts meet required tolerances and surface finishes.

Use precision measuring tools to inspect components during and after machining.

Support initial machine setups, troubleshoot issues, and fine‑tune programs to maintain efficiency and accuracy.

Analyze and reduce machining cycle times while optimizing cost‑efficiency and quality.

Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes and ensure manufacturability.

Follow safety practices and support continuous improvement initiatives across production and quality.

Perform other duties as needed to assist the production, engineering, or quality teams.

CNC Machinist (Milling Machine)

Job Responsibilities :

• Operate CNC milling machines according to job orders.
• Set up tools, fixtures, and materials based on job requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings and machine parts to customer specifications.
• Perform program editing as needed.
• Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to inspect finished parts.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams when necessary.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
