Penerangan pekerjaanDrive sourcing and contracting initiatives of medium / high spend and complexity Ensure business requirements are understood and reflected in sourcing processes Influence business demand where appropriate Strategic Sourcing Develop sourcing strategies aligned with category plans Define market approach and source selection criteria Coordinate supplier selection to ensure optimal outcomes Manage interactions with stakeholders and suppliers, including senior levels Negotiate and finalize contract terms Develop and modify contract content using templates; manage approval workflows Generate project reports and analyze data as needed Lead process improvement initiatives with an innovative mindset Compliance & Governance Ensure transparency, consistency, and fairness in supplier dealings Comply with all Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) policies Professional Leadership Support junior team members in senior stakeholder engagement Resolve complex issues and propose long-term improvement initiatives Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferably in business studies) Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end sourcing Strong background in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal terms Commercial acumen and excellent communication skills Procurement-related professional certification 3+ years of category-specific experience in Marketing, Retail Assets, or Convenience Retail Experience in Oil & Gas or industrial environments Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities Successful procurement delivery in complex international settings Experience in multicultural teams Strong influencing and negotiation skills Analytical skills (marketplace and financial analysis) Strategic thinking and sourcing strategy development Global / international business exposure Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Access, Excel) Experience with Ariba / Salesforce systems Data analysis and trend identification skills Flexibility to work shift hours Mid-Senior level Contract Other Oil and Gas
Overview
The Sourcing Lead supports various business units by managing medium to high complexity sourcing and contracting activities. This role also focuses on developing supplier relationships and proactively identifying value opportunities.
Type : 12 Month Contract
Working hour : 5.00PM – 2.00AM (Malaysia time) – Candidate will be supporting US
Hybrid Arrangement : 3 Days in Office, 2 Days at Home
