To manage overall warehouse operations, including inventory control, logistics, and export-import documentation. This role ensures the smooth flow of goods in and out of the warehouse while maintaining compliance with customs regulations, shipping requirements, and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Logistics Operations

Oversee daily warehouse activities : receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.

  • Coordinate and supervise inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Plan warehouse layout and workflow for operational efficiency.

Implement FIFO principles to ensure freshness and traceability.

Export & Import Documentation

Prepare and verify export / import documents : packing list, commercial invoice, certificate of origin, bill of lading / airway bill, insurance certificates, and export declarations.

  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs brokers for timely clearance and shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, HS codes, Incoterms, and trade documentation standards.
  • Apply for relevant permits / licenses (e.g., FTA, Halal export permit, health certificates, etc.).
  • Maintain systematic filing of all export / import documents for audit and traceability.

    Inventory Management

    Maintain accurate inventory records.

  • Conduct cycle counts and full stock takes.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing to avoid shortages or overstock.

    Compliance and Quality

    Ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, Halal, and GMP standards.

  • Maintain proper labeling and traceability of products.
  • Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations.

    Staff Management

    Lead, train, and supervise warehouse and logistics staff.

  • Allocate tasks and monitor team KPIs.
  • Conduct regular briefings on safety and operational updates.

    Reporting and System Use

    Prepare reports on inbound / outbound, inventory status, and export / import tracking.

  • Utilize ERP / WMS systems for data entry and stock control.
  • Analyze logistics costs and recommend improvements.

    Equipment & Maintenance

    Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).

  • Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance activities.
  • Job Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse management with hands-on exposure to export / import documentation.
  • Knowledge of customs documentation, Incoterms, and international shipping processes.
  • Proficient in WMS, SAP, or related warehouse systems.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet tight shipping deadlines.

    Pay : RM3, RM4,500.00 per month
