Production Supervisor

Overview

Purpose : To develop and maintain a feasible plan for hiring, training and management of personnel and to ensure quality issues, process and material flows are operated efficiently. Through the manager’s leadership, the Supervisor demonstrates and propagates the core values of BSC and collaborates with other functions (e.g., Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance, R&D, HR).

Location : Penang, Malaysia

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery of all key performance metrics on a particular shift / project, with a focus on "Core 5" and "9 panel" metrics.
• Liaising with warehousing, quality assurance, bulk-packaging and sterilization areas to ensure prompt shipment of product.
• Maintain GMP / housekeeping at a high level within the department through the involvement of all team members.
• Cross-functional management of QA, materials, IS and HR support for the team.
• Interact and liaise with other manufacturing teams and Logistics to prioritize backorders.
• Administrative duties including Time and Attendance system, Holiday planning, Build Plan review, Back Order review, Travel planning, etc.
