Job Summary

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is a high performing leader, problem solver, and innovator who challenges the status quo and drives innovation. In this role you will analyze complex business problems to be solved with re‑engineered processes and automated technology solutions. You will provide consultation to end users and lead cross‑functional teams to address business or systems issues.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Lam Global Operations teams to understand and support their operational needs to determine the best technology solution.
Provide analysis and deep insights to business needs and challenge and enable the best fit and technology solution.
Deep understanding of interaction, dependencies and alignment of different corporate initiatives, business unit, and IT strategies.
Architect and design business processes and systems solutions in support of business objectives.
Deep expertise in end‑to‑end Procure to Pay processes, e.g., master data, RFQ, forecasting, source determination, MRP, inventory strategies, sub‑contracting, PO management, inbound logistics, costing, supplier invoicing, indirect procurement, and supplier collaboration.
Connect multiple operations domains (Planning, Fulfillment, Manufacturing, Logistics, Spares Operations) and their interdependencies with Procurement.
Collaborate with the business unit in leveraging various Supply Chain Execution & Supplier Collaboration systems (SAP ECC MM / PP, SAP S / 4, SAP Workflows, SAP Portal, BI / Dashboards, Supplier B2B technologies – OneNetwork, Coupa) to enable the organization’s future‑state business capabilities.
Act as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, System Analyst and communicate effectively to a diverse audience, including leadership, to articulate complex planning scenarios, trade‑offs, and impact to Lam Operations.
Understand business functionality and translate into business use cases.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Operations or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 10 years overall SAP experience with 3+ years of experience in ECC & S / 4 (MM, PP).

Demonstrated expertise across multiple enterprise systems including SAP and No code platforms.

Have led more than one end‑to‑end implementation program, that included : analysis, design, configuration, development build, test, and deployment, including training and data conversion.

Strong problem solving and analytical / critical thinking skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently or with limited direction.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of advanced BI and dashboarding tools, e.g., Microsoft Power Platform.

Comfortable working with large data sets in MS Excel and querying language like SQL is a plus.
