Lead and implement all HSSE-related strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a proactive safety culture throughout the turnaround lifecycle. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel and the protection of the environment during high‑risk turnaround activities.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the development and execution of the Turnaround HSSE Plan in alignment with corporate policies and legal requirements.
• Provide HSSE leadership and guidance to all turnaround teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards and ensure effective control measures are in place.
• Oversee incident reporting, investigation, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Facilitate safety inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety meetings.
• Ensure all personnel are trained and competent in HSSE procedures, including Permit to Work, emergency response, and life‑saving rules.
• Maintain visible field presence to monitor compliance and provide coaching on safe work practices.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors to ensure HSSE expectations are clearly communicated and met.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure readiness for regulatory inspections.

Monitor HSSE performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
