Overview
Position : Business Development Manager
This role involves handling business development activities in the allocated markets. The manager is responsible for developing new customers, maintaining a high level of sales achievement, and implementing sales strategies and plans.
Location : Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang. The role requires possession of own transport and willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
- Identify new customers and business opportunities.
- Manage and maintain good relationships with existing customers and expand business opportunities.
- Handle sales inquiries and customer requests.
- Coordinate with other departments, including customer service and operations.
- Prepare sales reports and other relevant reports for management.
- Lead in-charge markets’ short‑term and long‑term strategies.
- Assess risks and ensure they are monitored and minimized.
- Set strategic goals and ensure they are measurable.
- Regularly discuss and report to the Director on market updates / trends.
- Assist in other tasks as assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements
Educational requirement : Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in any field.Required languages : English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.Minimum 3 years of sales experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics / Supply Chain industry with a solid track record.Knowledge of freight forwarding / logistics is a pre‑requisite.A team player, able to work independently with good analytical skills.Possess own transport and willingness to travel.Applicants must be willing to work in Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang.(Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.)
