Overview

To lead and deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services while supervising junior staff and contributing to clinical governance, service development, and patient care excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical

  • Independently assess, diagnose, and manage complex patient presentations across musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiorespiratory, or other specialties.
  • Formulate individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress effectively.
  • Provide second opinions and support junior team members in case reviews.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation.
  • Mentor and supervise junior physiotherapists, assistants, and students.
  • Facilitate clinical education sessions and skill-building activities.
  • Support staff development through feedback, goal-setting, and performance monitoring.

Service Development & Quality

  • Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and best practice protocols.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and integrated care planning.
  • Stay up to date with current evidence and help translate it into practice.
  • Uphold and contribute to organizational policies, risk management, and patient safety protocols.

    • Communication & Coordination

  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide education to patients and families on rehabilitation strategies and health maintenance.
  • Represent physiotherapy in interdisciplinary case conferences or community engagement.
  • Liaise with operations manager and managing director to assist with business development tasks.

    • Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • MPA registered.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or advanced practice role.

  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

    • Nice To Have

  • CPR / First Aid certified.
  • Specialized training or certification in sports, neuro, geriatrics or other is an advantage.
  • Interest in continuous professional development.
  • Possesses a driving license. If you have a car, even better.
