Exciting Opportunity – Group-Level Technology Head – IT | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We are hiring a

Group-Level IT – Technology Head

for a leading company engaged in refining and manufacturing palm oil products, including specialty fats and derivatives for the

Confectionery, Dairy, Bakery, and Food industries.

This strategic leadership role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This is a full-time on-site role, located in WP, Kuala Lumpur. As the Group-Level Technology Head, you will oversee the technological strategy and execution across the organization. Responsibilities include managing IT infrastructure, leading technology initiatives, setting technical standards, ensuring cybersecurity, and fostering a collaborative tech environment. You'll work closely with other departments to align technology goals with business objectives, driving innovation and efficiency throughout the company.

Experience Requirement : ~20 years

IT professiona

l who has transitioned from a Business IT role into a solid Technology Leadership position.

SAP implementation experience

is essential — the company is set to roll out SAP across operations in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka, and you will lead the entire deployment.

AI can be cost-effectively integrated

into business processes.

17-member team

across multiple locations.

SAP deployment experience

(within the last 5 years).

Malaysia and / or Indonesia

(no constraint on ethnicity).

tech company background

initially, followed by

business IT

roles.

Food / manufacturing industry

exposure as part of business IT experience.

15–20 years of total experience

leadership experience

in driving transformation and change in the technology space is highly preferred.

SAP expertise

is a top priority for this role.
