Overview

The role of the investment analyst / fund manager is to analyse financial statements, perform valuations and develop economic models to forecast future performance of investee companies which can contribute to the returns of Great Eastern Life Assurance’s Investment-Linked and Par funds. Responsibilities

To contribute good stock ideas (either buy / sell) that can outperform the market. To recommend buy / sell on a stock independently based on the fundamental valuation of the company. To provide stock and sector research / updates on the sectors under coverage, which will assist the investment team’s decision-making process. To give timely and regular updates to the investment team on companies / sectors under coverage. To assist in any other issues (compliance, report writing etc.) that will ensure the smooth, i.e. error free running of the investment division. Qualifications

Degree in any discipline. CFA charterholder will be an advantage. 5 – 7 years of experience in sell / buy side. Knowledge in valuation and forecasting corporate earnings. Proven track record in research calls. Good writing and presentation skills. How you succeed
