Job Summary :
The Padel Club Manager is responsible for the oversight and strategic growth of the club. This is a hands-on role that requires a blend of operational excellence, community building, and business development. The manager will be the face of the club, leading a small team to drive all aspects of the business, from daily court operations to partnerships and sponsorships.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Business Development :
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the club's revenue beyond court bookings
- Proactively seek, negotiate, and manage partnerships and sponsorships with relevant brands
- Work with external coaches to optimize coaching schedules and offerings
- Identify opportunities for additional revenue streams
2. Customer Service & Community Engagement :
Serve as the primary point of contact for all players, providing exceptional service and handling inquiriesDevelop and execute strategies to enhance player engagement and retentionOrganize and promote regular events to attract new players and foster a vibrant, active communityManage and respond to club communications, such as social media and WhatsApp groups3. Club Operations & Management :
Oversee the day-to-day operations, including court bookings, payments, and facility upkeepEnsure the club maintains a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and functionality at all timesManage and optimize the booking system to maximize court utilization and revenue4. Staff Leadership & Development :
Lead, train, and manage the club's teamOversee the recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision of new team membersCreate and manage work schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shiftsFoster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment5. Administrative :
Manage the club's operational budget, and oversee retail inventoryGenerate regular reports on club performance, including court utilization, revenue, and community growthRequirements :
A proactive, results-oriented mindset with an entrepreneurial spiritStrong organizational and management skillsGood interpersonal and communication skillsExperience in event planning and coordinationExperience in partnerships and sponsorships is an advantageKnowledge of padel or similar sportsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to be present during the club's busiest hoursBasic understanding of marketing and promotionsProficiency in computer software and applicationsPrevious experience managing a sports club or similar facility is a plusCompensation :
This role offers a base salary plus a robust performance-based commission structure that directly rewards your efforts in driving revenue-generating initiatives.
