Proven experience as a Senior Java Developer or similar role (typically 6+ years). Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Familiarity with version control tools (Git preferred). Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services; knowledge of JUnit. Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team with business stakeholders. Understanding of development processes (testing, code quality, design). Experience as a technical leader on projects for senior candidates. Experience in production support for business users is an advantage. Responsibilities
- Support business operations by configuring systems or developing new features in Java applications.
- Ensure performance, quality and responsiveness of applications; monitor, analyze, and report root causes of production disruptions and implement recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain and improve code quality and automation, especially in testing areas.
- Analyze current technology trends within IT to design new solutions that maximize productivity and improve business operations.
- Enrich documentation of deliverables and maintain up-to-date procedures around production support and development cycles.
