Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead and expand our sales operations. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in industrial or stainless steel fabrication sales, a strategic mindset, and strong leadership skills. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company growth targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, consultants, and industry influencers.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts with a focus on long-term partnerships.
  • Stay informed of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in industrial manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in stainless steel fabrication or a closely related field in marine, building and customised SS304 / 316, aluminium products
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes, stainless steel materials, and industry standards.
  • Proven track record in leading sales or business operations teams.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and meeting ambitious sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Candidate must be able to work at Bertam, Kepala Batas.
