We are seeking a talented R&D Executive / Assistant to join our dynamic team at NWE BIOTECH SDN BHD in Glenmarie, Selangor. This full‑time position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and improvement of innovative food technologies and products. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be involved in various aspects of research, testing, and implementation, playing a vital role in the company's growth and success.

What you’ll be doing

Conducting research and development activities to enhance existing food products or create new ones
Designing and executing experiments and tests to evaluate the quality, safety, and performance of food products
Analyzing data and interpreting results to identify areas for improvement or new development opportunities
Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including production, marketing, and quality assurance, to ensure the successful implementation of R&D initiatives
Documenting and presenting research findings, recommendations, and progress reports to management
Staying up‑to‑date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in food technology
Providing technical support and troubleshooting as needed

What we’re looking for

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field

1–3 years of experience in a similar R&D or product development role within the food industry

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions

Proficiency in the use of laboratory equipment and analytical tools

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations

Detail‑oriented and organized, with a keen eye for quality and attention to safety protocols

Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to the development of cutting‑edge food products
