Job Description
Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents.Participate in meetings and negotiations regarding legal issues and business transactions, including due diligence, corporate restructuring, joint ventures, and financing arrangements.Coordinate with external legal counsel on all legal matters affecting the organization.Provide legal advice across a broad spectrum of topics, addressing inquiries from internal stakeholders while safeguarding the company's legal interests.Identify, assess, and resolve legal risks related to contracts, litigation, and commercial activities.Develop and implement robust legal policies, guidelines, and procedures aligned with the company's strategic objectives.Stay updated on relevant laws and regulatory changes, providing timely counsel on potential impacts.Serve as the custodian of all legal documents and contracts, ensuring proper management and compliance with contractual obligations.Liaise with external company secretaries regarding statutory record-keeping and compliance matters for the group.Collaborate with company secretaries on drafting, reviewing, and circulating board resolutions and related documentation.The Successful Applicant
A recognized law degree and / or admission to the Bar with at least 10 years of solid legal experience.Proven experience in corporate legal matters, particularly in the industrial / manufacturing sector.Strong knowledge of contract law, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Leadership capabilities to manage a team effectively.Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.What s on Offer
