About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated

Senior Business Analyst

to join our dynamic team at RHB Banking Group. This role is pivotal in delivering best-in-class, first-in-bank business outcomes through deep domain knowledge, critical thinking, and a value-driven mindset. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and designing innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. You will collaborate with stakeholders across functions and levels, leveraging Agile practices to co-create impactful business designs in alignment with strategic goals.

What You Will Be Doing

• Gather and validate business requirements through workshops, interviews, surveys, and observation
• Identify pain points, gaps, and opportunities to reengineer and redesign processes for improved efficiency and value creation
• Conduct value chain analysis and understand operational processes to deliver cost-effective solutions
• Perform critical research and analysis to understand current market trends (local and global) and advise on competitive, customer-centric solutions
• Develop and present compelling business cases, leveraging design thinking, best practices, and competitor benchmarking
• Engage and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and senior management to ensure alignment on business objectives
• Work with Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Legal to ensure proposed solutions are in line with governance requirements
• Champion customer-first thinking across the end-to-end journey to ensure excellence in user experience
• Apply Agile methodologies in daily work routines including Scrum practices, story writing, acceptance criteria, and usability testing using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Figma
• Lead and support change management efforts, including developing FAQs, training content, and user manuals
• Translate complex ideas into clear, actionable communication tailored for diverse audiences
• Embrace digital innovation and identify novel applications of technology within the banking space
• Operate confidently as part of a self-organising Agile squad under the direction of the Product Owner or Section Head
• Act as a change agent, challenging outdated practices and influencing adoption of high-performance solutions
