To deliver high-quality English instruction (EFL / ESL) to Upper Secondary students (Years10–11), in accordance with the Cambridge IGCSE English curriculum (First or Second Language, Literature, or both).
The teacher will develop students’ advanced reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills, ensuring academic excellence and exam preparedness.
Teach IGCSE English Language and / or English Literature as per Cambridge syllabus standards.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons focused on advanced reading comprehension, analytical writing, grammar, vocabulary development, and oral communication.
Use diverse teaching methods to stimulate discussion, creativity, and critical analysis of texts from various genres, cultures, and periods.
Foster students’ confidence in interpreting and producing complex texts.
Guide students in literary analysis, essay construction, formal writing, and argumentation techniques.
Encourage independent reading, reflective writing, and public speaking. Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE examinations through mock exams, practice papers, and internal assessments.
Evaluate student work according to IGCSE standards and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress through regular reports and parent meetings.
Collaborate with English department colleagues in curriculum development, moderation, and resource sharing.
Participate in school events, staff meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Stay informed of changes to Cambridge assessment frameworks and emerging best practices in English education.

Requirements
Possess a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Education or related field.
Preferably experience in teaching English (IGCSE) Subject.
At least 2 years of teaching experience in a school environment.
Most recent work experience with an international school is an advantage.
