Purpose :
- As Rotating Equipment Team Lead, you are responsible for overseeing and managing the Rotating Equipment team at the Shorebase. Your role involves planning, coordinating, and following up on maintenance and repair activities to ensure optimal performance of the rotating equipment packages. You will lead improvement initiatives and assurance activities for the Shorebase team.
- You ensure compliance with safety standards, improve operational efficiency, and support the company's overall objectives.
Responsibilities :
Provide technical support and guidance to units and the Rotating Equipment team.Coordinate and oversee repair and servicing of rotating equipment packages.Drive, coordinate, and review inspections to identify and rectify issues.Support maintenance in defining and implementing maintenance schedules.Contribute to and review reports on maintenance, performance, and incidents.Support risk assessment processes.Review reports on maintenance activities and incidents.Manage root cause analysis investigations.Ensure assurance activities for Rotating Equipment discipline.Train and mentor junior staff, promoting skill development.Assist in vendor qualification processes to meet technical requirements.Support long-term service agreements and manage technical aspects of contracts.Contribute to technical contract management and continuous improvement initiatives.Education :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Additional certifications in mechanical systems (e.g., vibration analysis).For Brazil : active CREA registration.Experience :
Minimum 8 years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in Oil & Gas.At least 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.Deep knowledge of rotating equipment and maintenance practices.Experience with failure analysis and root cause investigations.Strong safety standards and industry knowledge.Proven leadership and motivation skills.Proficiency with SAP or similar systems.Experience in Shorebase environments and relevant oil & gas projects.Functional Competencies :
