Site Supervisor

Job Description :

  • Ensure a consistently high standard of work in accordance with specifications and quality standards through regular inspections with sub-contractors.
  • Oversee multiple projects.
  • Direct and supervise day-to-day operations of sub-contractors, ensuring adherence to standard operational procedures.
  • Ensure timely issuance of material requisitions to meet the construction program.
  • Schedule, control, and monitor all plant and materials on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure all work is completed as per the project schedule.
  • Fulfil the role of Temporary Works Coordinator when required.
  • Liaise with the Contracts Manager / Project Manager, Site Manager / Agent, and Contract Surveyor regarding cost control, waste management, variations, and confirmations of instructions.
  • Monitor daily site activities and report progress to the Project Manager.
  • Identify and report any defective work by contractors or subcontractors to consultants.
  • Liaise with authorities, consultants, contractors, and other relevant parties.
  • Supervise daily operations at the construction site and ensure work compliance.
  • Update manpower attendance, materials, quantities, and machinery records.
  • Solve problems occurring on-site.
  • Coordinate transportation for site workers.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (any discipline) or Architecture.
  • Part-time students are not accepted due to the demanding nature of the role.
  • Fresh graduates with 0–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.
  • Availability to work on Saturdays.
  • Submission of previous employment payslip for salary verification.
  • Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding English.

    • Optional (to be discussed during interview) :

  • Possession of own transport (preferably a car).
  • Residency in Kuala Lumpur or the Klang Valley.
  • Possession of a GDL (Goods Driving License).
