We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Assistant Manager, Accounts & Finance
to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the full spectrum of accounting and financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting to support the company’s strategic and operational goals. Job Responsibilities
Oversee and prepare the
full set of accounts
including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Costing. Manage the
day-to-day processing
of payable and receivable transactions in an efficient, accurate, and up-to-date manner. Prepare
monthly Profit & Loss statements
and other management reports. Perform
timely and accurate intercompany reconciliations
and maintain monthly balance sheet schedules. Assist in
annual audits
and prepare financial statements in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Ensure
smooth month-end closing , including journal entries, data validation, and report submission. Handle
product costing and inventory valuation
on a monthly basis. Maintain and update the
Fixed Assets Register . Prepare and submit
Government Statistical Reports ,
Quarterly Survey of Services , and
Investment Reports for Manufacturing Industries . Undertake any other duties or ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the immediate superior. Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA) . Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience , preferably in a manufacturing or related industry. Proven track record in accounts receivable and payable in a manufacturing environment. Familiar with general accounting and
International Financial Reporting Standards . Exposure to
SAP accounting software
and any other accounting related software. Ability to maintain a high level of
accuracy
in preparing and entering financial information. Ability to maintain
confidentiality
concerning financial files. Ability to work
under pressure and meet targets and deadlines . Demonstrate
good bookkeeping skills, analytical and problem-solving
skills. Responsible , fast learner,
detailed oriented , able to maintain confidentiality. Independent, self-starter, good communication skills and good interpersonal skills. Excellent prioritization, delegation and multitasking skills. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong MS Excel skills and analytical skill with ability to present data in an impactful and convincing manner. About the Company
