About the role

As a Social Media Strategist / Branding Executive at YUMMYJOY GROUP SDN. BHD.', you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the company's social media and branding strategy. This full-time position is based in Juru Penang, and you will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing online communities, and driving the brand's digital presence.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to build brand awareness, increase engagement, and drive conversions
  • Create compelling, visually-appealing content for the company's social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and LinkedIn
  • Monitor and analyse social media performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimise the company's digital presence
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
  • Manage and grow the company's online community, responding to comments and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, and implement new strategies as needed

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or brand strategy
  • Proven track record of creating and executing successful social media campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms, analytics, and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, on-brand content
  • Proficient in using social media management tools, such as Hootsuite, Canva, and Google Analytics
  • Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to think outside the box
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
