Penerangan pekerjaanProficiency in Vietnamese for research purposes. Good English comprehension and writing skills. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and critical thinking. Interest in news, current events, and credible media sources. Knowledge of Vietnam's naming conventions. Interest or experience in Vietnam's political structure, governance, sanctions, and legal framework related to AML / CFT is advantageous. Understanding of financial crimes in Vietnam. Integrity, self-motivation, innovative thinking, and efficiency. Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. At least 2 years' experience in research and compliance is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as International Relations, Political Science, Finance, Business, Journalism, or Languages. AML certifications are a plus.

We are hiring Lead Research in Penang, Malaysia. As a Vietnamese language Lead Research Analyst, you will conduct in-depth research on breaking news in Vietnam, focusing on Anti-Money Laundering / Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML / CFT) issues. Our focus includes maintaining extensive lists of Politically Exposed Persons (PEP), State-Owned & Invested Enterprises (SOE / SIE), Sanctions ownership information, and more.
What you'll be doing :
- Research and extract data from public sources, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and laws.
- Analyze and summarize information promptly and accurately.
- Follow strict research guidelines to ensure content quality.
- Conduct research based on guidance from FATF, APG, and other relevant sources.
- Provide daily content support to clients and collaborate with team members across offices.
- Handle individual and team tasks independently.
