The Metering Technician is responsible for
executing, performing, and documenting all maintenance activities
related to plant metering equipment and assigned units. A core function is to ensure the
accuracy and timely compilation of billing data
from metering systems while strictly adhering to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities : Metering & Data Management : Gather and compile accurate billing data
from the revenue Automated Meter Reading (AMR) system and / or BTU Meters on a timely basis. Report any
equipment defects
or operational difficulties related to metering systems to the supervisor. Maintenance Execution : Execute
scheduled maintenance
(PM) and
corrective maintenance
(CM) field works on assigned equipment, including common areas, following established company procedures. Perform and conduct tasks assigned via
SAP notifications and work orders
within specified timeframes. Complete and maintain
schedule maintenance checklists and inspections
to ensure plant availability and equipment condition. Troubleshooting & Safety : Assist in
troubleshooting
plant process, equipment problems, and abnormalities to maintain plant availability. Ensure all maintenance and isolation / normalization activities are carried out in a
safe manner . Maintain and preserve
safety compliance
for activities conducted by internal and external contractors / vendors (PM, CM, Project Improvement). Contribute to the promotion of an effective
Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) culture . Quality & Reporting : Contribute to
5S Activities
and participate in internal and external audits (QHSE, ERM, GIA, etc.). Maintain accurate records and report any safety or plant defects and shortfalls to the superior. Seniority level
