This mandate is with a Fortune 500 company - automotive manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end supply and demand planning across APAC, driving strategic alignment between commercial, manufacturing, and logistics functions. Ensure accurate forecasting, inventory optimization, and seamless S&OP execution to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Own regional demand planning and forecasting processes across multiple markets.
  • Drive consensus planning and lead S&OP cycles with cross-functional teams.
  • Optimize inventory levels and safety stock settings based on demand variability.
  • Lead new product planning and lifecycle management in coordination with commercial teams.
  • Enhance planning capabilities through advanced analytics and digital tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define and quantify assumptions (Price, Place, Promotion, Product, External). Manage product lifecycle and new product integration via S&OP and RvsCC processe
  • Work with Business Analysts, Marketing, and Cluster Supply Planning to prepare MOR & S&OP decks. Partner with Supply Chain teams to optimize safety stock and reduce cost impacts from forecast bias.

Qualifications :

  • 10-15+ years in supply chain, demand planning, or commercial operations, with regional leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive supply chain dynamics and planning systems (e.g., o9, Kinaxis, IBP).
  • Proven ability to lead in matrixed environments and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with data-driven forecasting and machine learning-based planning tools.
  • Strong background in forecasting, planning, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Experience in matrix organizations and deep knowledge of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Commercial functions.
  • Skilled in project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement.

    This role is responsible for leading regional supply & demand planning activities. The individual will drive consensus forecasting, ensure alignment across business functions, and maintain high standards in demand planning processes and data integrity.
