CCIE certification is a must. ITIL and zScaler certs are a plus. Deep expertise in routers, switches, SDN, SD-WAN, VPN, Firewall, Proxy, Load Balancer, ISE, etc. Solid grasp of network protocols (TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, IPsec, EIGRP, STP, etc.). Strong stakeholder management and project leadership skills.
Overview
We’re supporting a global financial institution in hiring a Senior Network Architect based in Kuala Lumpur - a strategic, high-impact role focused on architecting and governing enterprise-scale networks across multiple regions.
This isn’t your typical “keep the lights on” role. You’ll be driving architecture, design governance, and technical leadership for mission-critical network infrastructure spanning multiple regions.
Responsibilities
- Lead network architecture and design for global data centers and connectivity projects.
- Define and review High-Level & Low-Level Designs (topology, hardware / software standards, configurations).
- Partner with OEMs and global teams to integrate new networking technologies.
- Oversee project delivery from design → implementation → operational handover.
- Ensure networks are secure, scalable, and high-performing at enterprise scale.
