Your Role and Impact

As a Software Developer (Python - Automation Software Development) , you will be at the forefront of developing AI-powered solutions to replace manual operations, helping our clients build smarter, more efficient factories. You will collaborate with industry experts and cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless deployment and optimization of automation software in customer environments. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with innovative technologies and make a meaningful impact in a fast-evolving industry.

What You’ll Do

• Take part in the design and development of automation programs, focusing on tools and machines in the semiconductor industry.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to understand existing manual processes and devise automated solutions.
• Deploy and test automation software on-site, working closely with customer teams to ensure smooth operation.
• Be part of continuous innovation by integrating AI, RPA, and remote-control technologies into automation systems.
• Proactively break down ambiguous manufacturing problems and propose multiple technical approaches.
• Architect modular, scalable solutions that can adapt to evolving shop-floor requirements.
• Keep algorithmic considerations in mind and collaborate closely with data scientists and computer-vision engineers to integrate advanced analytics or control logic as needed.
• Mastery in python (3.x), leveraging frameworks / tech like Asyncio, multithreading, and functional programming.
• Build clean, well-documented code with strong OOP and design-pattern best practices.
• Interface with industrial equipment (via rest, WebSocket, MQTT or custom protocols).
• Containerize with docker; collaborate on git for reliable releases.
• Integrate or fine-tune LLMs and agentic ai agents to automate complex decision workflows.
• Develop retrieval-augmented systems, effective prompt strategies, or rule-based fallbacks as needed.
• Create exhaustive unit / integration tests and simulation environments to validate automation logic.
• Troubleshoot production issues with clear root-cause analyses and corrective solutions.
