CoffeeSpace is establishing its Consumer Product Team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia . We are hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer (3+ yrs of exp) . As first hires, you will take ownership of the talent product, drive rapid execution, and shape the next chapter of CoffeeSpace.

We are making entrepreneurial dreams a reality by curating and connecting the world’s builders. In today’s world, it is easier than ever to build a product, but finding the right people to build it with is still broken. Your first ten hires shape everything; early‑stage team formation remains one of the hardest problems in startups.

We’re building CoffeeSpace, an AI recruiting engine that connects founders with cofounders and early hires through high‑signal, two‑sided search and matching. Since launching last year, we’ve :

Grown to 20,000+ users , 1.5M+ swipes , and 35,000+ matches
Launched recruiting engine in June 2025, signing 15+ clients from YC, StartX, and beyond
Selected for TechCrunch Disrupt Startup Battlefield 200 and ranked Top 5 on Product Hunt

About This Role

We are hiring Senior Engineers for our Consumer Product Team—engineers who are ready to go beyond coding and help shape the future of the product and company.

We’re looking for people who are not only technically strong, but who think deeply about trade‑offs, care about solving real problems, and know how to build fast without compromising stability. You’re the kind of engineer who knows when to apply best practices and when to bend them.

Qualifications

3+ years building mobile apps (Flutter, React Native, or native)

Built features for consumer‑facing products with 100K+ users

Strong grasp of performance, reliability, and maintainability principles

Familiar with AI coding tools, MCPs, third‑party workflow agents

Practical experience applying agentic workflow in startup environments

Builder first —ship, iterate, and improve

Comfortable with ambiguity and fast‑changing priorities

Strong written and verbal communication in English

Able to turn product requirements into clear, actionable engineering plans
