Product Manager, Group Buyback & Trade-In
CompAsia is one of the largest service providers in the smartphone Buyback & Trade-In market across APAC. Our mission is to minimize e-waste by transforming device ownership. We collaborate with telcos, mobile operators, smartphone manufacturers, retailers, financial institutions, insurance companies, and consumers across Asia. This role will focus on product management within the BBTI division, shaping product strategy, overseeing lifecycle management, driving product adoption, and ensuring seamless execution across stakeholders. The successful candidate will bridge business needs and customer experience with technology enablers, ensuring CompAsia’s products deliver measurable impact in the market. Responsibilities : Define and execute the product roadmap for BBTI initiatives aligned with business goals. Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and customer insights analysis to identify new product opportunities. Translate business objectives into product requirements and prioritize features that enhance customer value and profitability. Product Development & Lifecycle Management Drive end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation, design, launch, to post-launch improvements. Work closely with internal teams (Tech, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance) to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements. Manage product backlogs, ensuring trade-offs between short-term execution and long-term scalability. Define and monitor product KPIs (adoption, usage, NPS, margin contribution). Stakeholder & Partner Engagement Act as the product owner and single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (OEMs, telcos, retailers, fintech partners). Partner with cross-functional teams to launch programs, design customer journeys, and ensure operational readiness. Conduct product training for internal teams and partners to drive adoption and consistency. Go-to-Market & Execution Lead GTM planning and execution for product launches and enhancements. Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development to craft positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials. Monitor and optimize program performance, addressing gaps in customer experience, pricing, and operational flow. Business Growth & Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve trade-in value propositions, streamline processes, and enhance partner / customer satisfaction. Leverage data analytics to inform product decisions, validate hypotheses, and measure success. Drive initiatives that balance revenue growth, customer engagement, and sustainability objectives. Job Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, IT, or related field 3–6 years of relevant experience in
product management, product development, or business strategy , preferably in telco, OEM, fintech, or e-commerce. Strong commercial acumen with ability to connect customer needs to business models. Proven track record in launching and managing products with measurable impact. Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with Agile / Scrum frameworks is a plus. Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
