EHS Technician

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• To provide support in relevant governmental department inspections.
• Support Safety and Health Committee activities, audits and maintain records to ensure all safety and health requirements are in compliance as required by legislation.
• Conduct internal safety and health audit and follow-up for closure of corrective actions.
• Assist the EHS team in maintaining an active Emergency Response Team (ERT) and coordinate trainings for the ERT members.
• Conduct machine / equipment buy-off for all new machines or equipment in the factory.
• Conduct EHS trainings and briefings to employees.
• Ensure all relevant permits for contractors are effectively enforced. Ensure contractors working on-site comply with all EHS requirements and take control measures to prevent accidents.
• Assist in coordination of EHS monitoring activities and follow up on actions required if any.
