We are looking for a Pipeline Engineer to join our expanding team in Kuala Lumpur.

As a Pipeline Engineer, you'll be part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary project team working on a variety of offshore projects, spanning conceptual design through to installation. From subsea pipelines and risers to flowlines and cables, you’ll bring your engineering expertise to high-impact projects that support both traditional oil & gas developments and the transition to renewable energy.

You’ll work closely with our global engineering teams and clients to deliver technical excellence across each project phase—concept, FEED, detailed design, and execution. You will be empowered to take ownership of engineering workstreams, mentor junior engineers, and help us push the boundaries of what’s possible offshore.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Design and analyze offshore and onshore pipeline systems (rigid, flexible, risers, flowlines) using industry codes such as DNV, API, ASME, and ISO
  • Perform advanced analyses (e.g., wall thickness, stability, free-span, buckle, FEA) using tools like Abaqus, ANSYS, OrcaFlex, and OFFPIPE
  • Develop pipeline routing, installation procedures, material specs, trenching / backfilling strategies, and more
  • Collaborate across disciplines to support procurement, fabrication, testing, and offshore installation activities
  • Lead and support engineering studies including integrity assessments, life extension, and decommissioning projects
  • Contribute to renewable energy projects such as offshore wind and subsea cable routing

What We’re Looking For :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum Engineering, or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in pipeline engineering, ideally in detailed design or EPCI environments
  • Strong understanding of pipeline codes (e.g., DNV, ASME, API) and advanced analysis techniques
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., MathCAD, ABAQUS, Ansys, OrcaFlex, Python, AutoPIPE)
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • A drive to innovate and contribute to the energy transition
