We are an expanding entertainment and digital media company looking for a driven

Business Development Executive

to grow our business through strong client relationships and smart market strategies. This role involves both B2B and B2C outreach and is perfect for someone who's passionate about sales, understands the Malaysian and SEA market landscape, and thrives in a target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of company products and services to effectively communicate and collaborate with client.
  • Develop and nurture connections with new and existing clients, fostering long-term collaborations.
  • Promote the company's products, customizing offerings to meet specific client needs.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to understand trends, competition, and opportunities.
  • Plan and implement business development initiatives that align with company goals and strengthen brand awareness in target markets.
  • Work with various teams to create compelling proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of business development strategies.
  • Analysed data to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Execute daily sales activities, follow up with client, and negotiations to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Attend networking events, and industry functions as a brand ambassador.

Requirements

  • Minimum SPM / STPM qualification; Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields is a plus.
  • Proven experience collaborating with brands, especially within Fashion, FMCG, Lifestyle, or similar industries.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in business development, sales, or marketing; agency background (marketing / advertising) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Melayu, English, and Mandarin or Cantonese, enabling effective interaction with a diverse client base and stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with confidence in engaging clients and leading negotiations.
  • proactive and driven individual with high energy and a clear focus on achieving and exceeding sales objectives.
  • Willingness to travel and possession of own transport is required.
  • Passionate about business development with a strong interest in the entertainment and digital media industry.
