We’re looking for a strong Key Account Manager to manage End‑User – Public Accounts and join our ASEAN public team based in Johor, Malaysia. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the government tender process, a technical background in the lighting or electrical industry, and engineering knowledge. The role focuses on end‑user engagement rather than partner management, and experience with public sector customers such as JKR, TNB, Majlis, airports, sea ports, railways, sports authorities and their contractor ecosystems is an advantage.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the Professional End‑User segment of Public / Government accounts in Malaysia.
  • Drive business development and build relationships with key stakeholders in the Malaysian public sector.
  • Execute sales and meet operational targets within the local market context.
  • Develop, maintain and improve long‑term partnerships to establish Signify as the preferred lighting solutions provider.
  • Identify new opportunities in the public / government segment.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and report progress to the regional team.

Your Qualifications

  • Strategic thinker with a sales‑oriented focus and strong execution skills.
  • 10+ years combined sales and sales‑management experience in lighting, electrical, IT, technology, building materials or automation.
  • Wide network of contractors, engineers, architects, specifiers, etc.
  • 5+ years proven track record in key account management, solution selling, and value‑based selling in the public / government segment.
  • Experience or understanding of lighting / solution selling and IoT selling ecosystem preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both local language and English.
