Role Overview

We are looking for fresh graduates who are eager to build their careers in the supermarket / retail industry. As a Management Trainee, you will be trained across core departments — Human Resources, Admin, Procurement, Finance, MIS, and IT — to develop a strong foundation in business operations and retail management. This program is designed to groom you into future specialists and potential leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources (HR) & Admin

  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
  • Support payroll, attendance, and HR compliance.
  • Participate in training and development programs.

Procurement

  • Assist in vendor coordination, negotiations, and purchase orders.
  • Monitor stock levels and support timely replenishment.
  • Learn demand forecasting and category management.
  • Finance

  • Support accounting, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
  • Work on expense control and audit preparation.
  • MIS (Management Information Systems)

  • Prepare sales, stock, and operational reports.
  • Support business decision-making with data analysis.
  • Learn reporting tools and dashboard creation.
  • Information Technology (IT)

  • Provide first-level support for POS, ERP, and retail systems.
  • Assist in troubleshooting hardware / software issues.
  • Support IT infrastructure upgrades and digital initiatives.
  • Qualifications

  • Fresh graduates (Bachelor's / Master's) in HR, Supply Chain, Commerce, Finance, IT, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ERP / BI tools knowledge is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and work across multiple functions.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.

    On successful completion of the trainee program, candidates will be assigned to specialist roles in their respective departments (HR, Admin, Procurement, Finance, MIS, or IT), based on performance, aptitude, and business needs.
