As a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Executive , you’ll help design, implement, and manage systems that measure the effectiveness of our programs — ensuring quality, accountability, and continuous learning across all initiatives.
Responsibilities
- MEL Framework & Data Management
Collaborate with program teams and partners to develop MEL frameworks, indicators, and tools for project implementation.
Coordinate and support data collection, validation, and analysis to track progress, outputs, and outcomes.Provide technical guidance to program teams and partners on MEL design, tools, and methodologies.Maintain data accuracy, quality, and consistency across all initiatives.Evaluation, Analysis & LearningParticipate in project reviews and evaluations to assess performance and impact.
Analyse data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.Document lessons learned, success stories, and best practices to enhance organisational learning.Contribute to analytical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Reporting, Capacity Building & Continuous ImprovementSupport proposal development, including results frameworks, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
Strengthen MEL capacity among staff and partners through knowledge sharing and coaching.Promote the use of updated MEL tools, methods, and best practices.Ensure compliance with organisational standards and ethical data management practices.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field.At least 3 years of relevant experience in MEL, research, or data management, preferably in the non-profit or social development sector.Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, and reporting.Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data tools (e.g., SPSS, STATA, Power BI) is an advantage.Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Able to work both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.Passionate about social impact and committed to the Foundation’s mission and values.Note : Some formatting in the original description used emphasis; this has been preserved as plain text where appropriate in line with the guidelines (text content only).
