Job Description
- Lead and manage the daytoday production operations in an injection moulding department
- Drive production schedule adherence, ensuring targets for output, yield, quality and safety are met.
- Supervise team of shift leads, operators and machine technicians.
- Coordinate with tooling maintenance, mouldchange teams, process engineering and quality assurance.
- Monitor key metrics : cycle times, machine utilisation, scrap / reject rates, downtime causes.
- Identify process bottlenecks, initiate corrective actions and continuous improvement activities (e.g., 5S, TPM, Kaizen).
- Ensure mould setup, machine startup, changeover and shutdown routines are executed properly.
- Assist in manpower planning, training and development of team members
- Maintain compliance with health, safety & environmental regulations, and internal operational standards.
