Job Title

Accounts & Admin – Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and closing monthly financial and management accounts, including detailed analysis of income and cost for investigation and decision making.
  • Ensuring that all companies follow the correct accounting standards and procedures.
  • Maintain proper financial and management accounting records.
  • Ensuring that accounts are filed timely with the relevant authorities.
  • Cash flow management.
  • Timely and accurate preparation of annual budget / forecast and cash flows.
  • Provide support and communication to all departments and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with auditors, company secretarial, tax agent, bankers and consultants / advisors for financial, banking and other regulatory matters.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable approved accounting standard, tax matters and filing and other regulatory requirements.
  • Any other matters assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years working experience (working experience in audit firm is an added advantage).
  • Hands-on in preparing financial and management accounts / reports.
  • Familiar with accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Proficient in Ms Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and data analysis.
  • Good command in both written and spoken English, Malay & Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Efficient and independent. Possess sense of responsibility and commitment in meeting tight schedules and set deliverable.
  • A team player with good supervisory and organization skills.
  • Hands-on, proactive and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiar with UBS and Autocount Accounting are added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of LHDN’s e-Invoicing & SST is an added advantage.
