Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pupil & Legal Associate at NG, HO & PARTNERS, located in Kuala Lumpur.
The Pupil will be responsible for assisting senior lawyers and partners in research, drafting legal documents, attending court proceedings, and handling various clerical tasks. The role includes analyzing case files, preparing legal opinions, and ensuring the proper management of case documents. The Pupil will also be involved in client interactions, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records.
The Legal Associate will be responsible for the following tasks :
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements
- Assisting with mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
- Advising on regulatory compliance and risk management
Qualifications
Pupil
A Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualificationCompleted Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) or Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC)Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with legal research databases and toolsFluency in English and Chinese is required, with proficiency in other languages an advantageLegal Associate
