Test Technician (Kulim / Bayan Lepas)

Responsibilities

• Operate complex metrology and material analysis tools in an ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) compliant environment.
• Perform loading and unloading of products into / from equipment according to specifications, Best Known Methods (BKM), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Take ownership of assigned equipment, including performance tracking, preventive maintenance, and user training.
• Conduct daily equipment monitoring and ensure timely response to any Out of Control (OOC) or Out of Spec (OOS) conditions.
• Collect, organize, and analyze metrology data to identify trends, detect anomalies, and support process improvements.
• Generate reports and communicate findings to engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality and yield optimization.
• Collaborate with different departments to support data requests, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Support the development and proliferation of new measurement methods or tools within the team or site.
• Apply constraint management techniques to maximize equipment output while minimizing downtime.
• Perform non-standard processing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving as needed.
• Shift allowance and overtime (OT) pay provided.
