THE TEAM
As a member of a global in-house marketing team, you\'ll be working with project managers and internal departments monitoring social media channels and developing engaging content that speaks to specific audiences and meets key marketing initiatives.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you a hands-on marketer with a passion for digital marketing and social media activities? You will be playing a key role focused on creating and scheduling engaging content, monitoring social channels daily, supporting campaign reporting, and ensuring SPE’s digital presence is consistent, creative, and on-brand. You\'re a pro at communicating value, delivering on deadlines, and providing high-quality assurance on all copy-related deliverables.
Your work across SPE and our events is instrumental in producing content that drives engagement, supports member growth, and amplifies the impact of our events through digital channels. With a strong eye for design and detail, you will create visually engaging social graphics, write compelling copy, and ensure assets are delivered in multiple formats for maximum reach and effectiveness. This is suited to someone highly organised, creative, and collaborative.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE IN THIS ROLE
Social Media & Content Creation
- Monitor SPE’s global social channels daily to identify engagement opportunities, manage community interactions, and share trends with the team
- Plan, create, and schedule content across LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Instagram, ensuring alignment with campaign goals and platform strategies
- Design visual assets (graphics, carousels, GIFs, videos) using Canva and other tools to boost engagement, reinforce brand identity, and support revenue generation
- Write compelling copy for organic and paid campaigns that promote events, membership growth, and brand initiatives
- Adapt and resize graphics for various digital formats, maintaining quality and brand consistency across platforms
- Repurpose content into formats including reels, testimonials, and carousels to extend reach and relevance
- Update marketing content and track analytics for the SPE app, including push notifications
Reporting & Optimization
Contribute to monthly social media reports, including social listening and sentiment analysisTrack and analyze organic campaign performance to inform optimization strategiesMonitor website trends via Google Analytics and provide insights to improve content across SPE.org and related sitesSupport the global marketing team with accurate data for campaign evaluationAssist with annual digital marketing benchmark reports to identify trends and enhance future strategiesDigital Marketing & Content Support
Maintain and update content on SPE.org and event websites to ensure accuracy and message alignmentManage digital marketing expenses, ensuring budget complianceOrganize and update SPE’s global photo and video asset library for easy access to high-quality, brand-aligned contentCoordinate annual brand standards updates with internal stakeholdersMaintain key resources, letterhead and global presentations to reflect current brandingSupport team training in Canva and social media best practices to improve design and marketing capabilitiesYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERTISE
Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or content creation (or a related role) or an equivalent combination of education and / or experienceSkilled in creating engaging social media content (graphics, copy, video) that aligns with brand standards and drives measurable engagementFluent in written and spoken English, with strong attention to detail and the ability to tailor tone and style for diverse audiencesProficient in Canva and similar tools for designing, resizing, and adapting social graphicsStrong digital copywriting skills with a focus on audience engagementFamiliar with social media scheduling, monitoring, and reporting tools, as well as social listening and performance analysisAccustomed to working with a global team which may require availability to attend periodic meetings outside of regular office hours (late night and / or early mornings)BENEFITS AND PERKS
