Overview
Human Resources Manager is responsible for assisting in the identification, evaluation, and analysis of risks inherent to the operations of the Wasco Greenergy Group comprising its holding company and two main subsidiaries. The incumbent will support the formulation, implementation, administration, and evaluation of risk management strategies to efficiently and cost-effectively manage those risks. This role supports adherence to the Anti Bribery Management System (ABMS), AMLA and other regulatory compliance matters by assisting in the development and implementation of related policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance and implementation of the Group’s risk management frameworks, standards, and practices.
- Assist in reviewing risk policies and protocols, recommending improvements and supporting their implementation.
- Monitor risk management processes and controls, escalate key issues to the designated Committee member.
- Work with risk owners to evaluate the comprehensiveness of risk assessment processes, control measures, and periodic action plans, and compile, review, and prepare quarterly risk reports.
- Coordinate workshops and training on risk management topics for members of the Group.
- Assist in investigating irregularities and prepare reports for key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other corporate oversight functions to identify and implement consistent and effective approaches to risk governance and controls.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with all personnel engaged in risk management activities.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments or special projects as needed.
Integrity
Support implementation and maintenance of company policies, procedures, and controls in line with ABMS and AMLA.Assist in training and awareness programs on ethical and anti-bribery practices and integrity.Provide guidance on anti-bribery and corruption issues under the direction of the designated Committee member.Assist in improving corruption risk management processes, focusing on governance and ABMS requirements.Proactively stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, assisting in updating company policies and procedures.Support monitoring compliance through audits and evaluations.Maintain records and implement procedural updates consistently.Assist in preparing periodic reports on the anti-bribery management system for the designated member of the Committee.Assist in investigation and coordinate resolution of compliance issues, ensuring follow up on corrective actions.Requirements
Education & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Management or related fields.A recognized Integrity Officer (CeIO) certification and / or being a certified auditor is an added advantage.Experience & Knowledge
Minimum 5–6 years of proven experience in risk management, governance or compliance, preferably within bioenergy, oil & gas, manufacturing, shipping, or construction, or related fields.Familiarity with risk frameworks such as COSO, ISO 31000, or equivalent is an advantage.Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including basic knowledge of anti-money laundering laws.Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
