Human Resources Manager

Drama Byte is a digital entertainment company focus in producing short drama series made for mobile viewing in vertical format with full-on storylines in Malay and Chinese namely Do Drama app that can be found in Google Play Store and App Store.

Job Responsibilities :

Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and best practices to support the company's goals and objectives

Overseeing the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening and onboarding of new hires

Manage the company's payroll system to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and other compensation while maintaining compliance standards.

Oversee employee relations, resolve workplace conflicts, and provide guidance on HR-related issues.

Maintain HR records, reports, and analytics to support decision-making.

Develop and lead employee engagement strategies and initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Partnering with business leaders to understand their workforce needs and provide strategic HR support.

Oversee the general administration functions including the building and facilities maintenance, procurement of stationery, pantry supplies and office equipment to support daily operations. Manage vendor contracts, suppliers, and service providers.

Ensure proper budgeting, cost control, and timely procurement of office needs.

Job Requirements :

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Human Resource Management, or equivalent.

Minimum 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role is preferred.

Good command of verbal and written in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is required.

Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism.

Familiar with AutoCount HRMS is an added advantage.

Comfortable to work in a startup with fast paced environment, able to handle all HR matters proactively.
