Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist
Hire Digital is looking for an experienced Senior SEO Specialist (Freelance, Remote) to lead organic growth initiatives across multiple client accounts. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive end-to-end SEO programs — from technical audits and keyword strategy to content optimization and performance analysis — while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to client goals across B2B and B2C sectors
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap assessments to inform editorial and product roadmaps
- Perform technical SEO audits; prioritize and implement fixes to improve site health, crawlability, and indexation
- Partner with content, design, and development teams to optimize on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, internal links, structured data)
- Define and execute off-page SEO strategies including high-quality link building and digital PR initiatives
- Track, measure, and report SEO KPIs using platforms such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Data Studio
- Provide insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams and clients, translating complex data into clear business impact
- Monitor search engine algorithm changes and proactively adapt strategies to maintain performance
- Educate internal teams and clients on SEO best practices and emerging trends
